About Me / Hakkımda
ENGLISH
I am an international trade expert by day, an author by night, an adventurer at weekends and a full-time techie. I have proficient-level English and beginner level German and Russian. I am a versatile person
with various interests ranging from technology to history, psychology to philosophy. But writing is at the top of all my interests so much so that I
am currently working on my neodystopian novel. In addition, I enjoy travelling the world and
exploring different cultures. The keywords to describe me are creative, proactive, analytical, developer, skeptic, dark humorous, difficult, impatient... well in short an obvious "INTP". And deterministic chaos is my ultimate philosophy. By the way, I was born in August yet I am definitely a fall/winter person. My height is 5 ft. 12 (183 cm), my lucky number is 13 and my favourite color is blue... And I love almost all music genres, especially classical, traditional, medieval folk, rock, metal, psychedelic and 70-80s Turkish phonograph records. When it comes to my taste in cinema, any movie with a satisfactory script is a reason for me to watch it, like it, recommend it. The same goes for my novel preferences.
After Istanbul, I have attended midschool at TED Ankara College and highschool at Milli Piyango Anatolian High School. I have earned several insignificant awards for science projects, art and debate. I have also worked as a director in two amateur theater plays. I have studied language and research methods in Cambridge, UK for 3 months. After, I have graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Industrial Engineering. I also have a Master's degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University. My main engineering specializations are marketing, brand building, business analysis and operations research. After graduation, I started working as a foreign trade specialist at the Ministry of Economy (currently the Ministry of Trade). My
duties included the execution and development of the electronic-based
risk analysis system within the scope of product safety and commercial
quality inspections in import and export, monitoring of product safety
field practices in the automotive and electronics sector within the
scope of harmonised the European Union legislation, and digital product
safety and digital safety of products. From 2019 to 2023, I also participated as a delegate representing Turkey in the OECD Digital Security sessions and the United Nations WP.29 World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations and related working groups. Since May 2023, I have been working as a commercial counsellor in the Turkish Consulate General in Batumi, Georgia.
